Q: I can't hear you very well on stream, Why? - I am a soft-spoken person in real life, so I would fumble my words that often and I kind of cut-off my sentences. Expect me doing take two's on my words. I sometimes go off-topic so bear with me if I rant off Q: Say something about yourself. Why Raelin? - Raelin is actually one of my favorite names I ever liked since I heard of it. I first heard of it in a visual novel in which a youtuber was doing a playthrough with it. Ever since hearing the name I just fell in love with it. - I am actually male, in his 20s, balancing life, work and gaming. I used to play FPS and was a sim racer on my younger years. I think I can still play them though I'm not good at it, since I lost interest in being competitive. - I am also a musician with perfect pitch, played a couple of instruments ranging from band to classical. Sadly I don't own one at the moment (*sad Rae noises*), I want to invest in one at some point so I could enjoy my talent as a hobby, practice and all. Q: When did you start rhythm gaming? - I first got into rhythm gaming around 2016, when I was interested in playing beatmania IIDX in a local arcade near me. Ever since, I expanded the list to Pop'n Music, DDR, Drummania/Guitarfreaks, Pump It Up, and the rhythm games I play on stream. - Oh and if you're interested, 8th dan is my highest IIDX rank I achieved in my prime years. Q: Why rhythm games? - Since I am a musician, rhythm games just clicked with me when I touched one. That moment when you just get absorbed into the music and playing in itself, I just go into concentration mode. Sometimes I just go silent when I want to grind for a full combo or a perfect score for a song, so forgive me if I can't read the chat in time. Q: What do I expect on your streams? - Expect a lot of fumbling on my grinds. I mean, a lot. Since I didn't have a lot of rhythm games to play when I started, and those arcade days can have only that much time, not to mention the noise pollution inside an arcade, I didn't have any particular rhythm game that I am best at, or at least enough skill to compete with another skilled player. So bear with me on my grinds. - Most of the time on stream, I like to do small discussions on games, music, and sim racing in general. Feel free to discuss something with me and I will do my best to answer as comprehensively and sensible as I can on stream. Suggestions on my streams are appreciated.
