Hello! I'm ratherastory. Queer nerd with no chill. Quintessential internet Mom Friend. I work a job with terrible hours, am going to university part-time, and am pretending to have my life in order. I got into video games in 2015 and started streaming in October of 2017. Come watch me fail hilariously at video games! I live in Canada with my four beloved cats, and my brand new puppy, who has been taking up all of my admittedly scarce free time. The cats enjoy occasionally spicing up my stream with their antics.

Here are ratherastory's rules for a harmonious chat experience: 1- Wheaton's Law applies. (Don't be a dick!) 2- No hateful language or trolling. You will get one warning, and then you will get banned. No exceptions. 3- You may swear, but exercise restraint. 4- Suggestions and backseating are fine, but keep it polite and don't spoil game plots! 5- If someone tells you your behaviour is making them uncomfortable, desist immediately. Zero tolerance on this. 6- No self-promotion, or asking for a shout-out. Leave that to me or the mods. 7- Please keep the majority of your posts in English. 8- No harassing me or anyone else in the chat, here or on other social media platforms. 9- Respect the mods. What they say goes. 10- Have fun!

You can expect streams 2 times a week, sometimes 3. I generally stream for 4 hours or so, but will sometimes run longer when the mood strikes. My work schedule unfortunately precludes me from having a stable stream schedule. This is even more true now that I am also going back to university part time. Streams are almost always at 1pm EST, but the streaming days will vary considerably. I have started posting my planned streaming schedule every Sunday in my Discord, so come join our cozy little story circle in order to get regular updates!
