Hello, and welcome to my channel! I'm here to share my appreciation of retro games! (meaning games 10 years or older) as well as their remakes, in light hearted lens! However that does not mean I won't play more modern games, if requested, or if I'm playing with friends.

emerald randomizer rules
the are the rules for our randomizer!
°For shops
-only 5 potions of current highest level can be bought from each shop, 10 of next level down, 15 of level following that, & so on. Past that, any other items are fair game including stat boosting X items and such. (e.g. Start of game, 5 potions. When super potions become available, only 5 super potions and 10 potions, and so on.)
°During battle
-switch mode (if only to counter the fact that the randomizer could drop in a pokemon that dooms the one you're using and that would just feel cheap)
°Catching
-starter will not count as route encounter, it will count as a gift pokemon (which I will cover next)
-gift/trade pokemon do not count as route encounters and you may keep whatever it is you get
-legendaries may be used, but only if caught without your current highest level ball (excluding base pokeball)
-legendaries received as gifts, however, must be boxed as it is not considered a legitimate capture for them
-fishing/water encounters will not be counted as a separate area. (Hoenn has plenty enough water routes)
°Leveling
-there will be a level cap for each gym to prevent overleveled grinding

1st gym: Lv 17
2nd gym: Lv 20
3rd gym: Lv 25
4th gym: Lv 30
5th gym: Lv 33
6th gym: Lv 36
7th gym: Lv 44
8th gym: Lv 45
