You probably have seen that i use the tags "Mental Health" and "LGBTQIA+" Here is why: 1. I myself have been suffering from depression and bullying related PTSD for decades and have been dealing with being ADHD since my childhood. It is a part of me and i'm not afraid to talk about it. 2. While I refer to myself mostly as a cis-het white man. Matter of fact is that i'm probably more along the lines of being heteroflexible but never actually acted on it (probably because Jason Momoa never came knocking on my door). 3. A lot of what i do online is also defined by representing my spouse, who I have been married to for over 7 years now. They themselves are afab nonbinary but due to their own neurovariance have a very hard time to act as a public figure and defend themselves against discrimination and to help the community. That's why they expressly asked me to act as their surrogate. And not using the tag because I myself may not be "part of the community enough" would feel like dismissing, ignoring and devaluing them. 4. We are poly. While it's not clear if this can be considered part of LGBTQIA+ it definitely is part of GSRM (gender, sexual, romantic minorities). 5. I want to give a save haven to all the people who are dealing with mental health issues and are part of the LGBTQIA+ Community. I also want to give the finger to all the homophobic and transphobic people out there.
