About SightlessKombat

# Hello And Welcome To My Channel ##Hi! I'm SightlessKombat, feel free to call me SightlessKombat, Sightless, Kombat or SK, whatever's easiest. I'm a uk-based credited accessibility consultant, gamer without sight and content creator, primarily focused on showcasing how I play videogames when having absolutely no sight whatsoever. You'll see me streaming everything from action titles like God Of War, racing games like Forza Motorsport, fighters like Mortal Kombat 1 to horror titles like Dead Space and even cosy games like Stories Of Blossom from time to time. If a title's accessible and you express enough interest in seeing me play it, chances are I will! You'll also occasionally see me streaming live music as well, including creating tracks you'll hear here, showcasing the accessibility and workflow of my music-making process. ### So What Is A Gamer Without Sight? Most people would probably say I'm "blind/totally blind/visually impaired/legally blind", or something similar at least. However, I prefer the term gamer without sight (GWS) and use it for the sake of greater clarity. Legal blindness, often just shortened to being "blind", can include some residual and sometimes usable vision, which I have never had. ## What's Your Schedule? I try and keep a consistent schedule, varying games between streams where necessary, but sticking to the same game for a few streams in a row isn't unheard of either. You can find the schedule for the current week under the "schedule" tab on my Twitch page. Note: Normally at the end of a stream I'll keep viewers informed of what's planned to the extent I know in advance. Sometimes though, streams will just happen on an impromptu basis as well. If you want to keep up-to-date with my streaming plans, you can [follow me on Twitter](http://www.twitter.com/sightlesskombat), or [join my Discord server](https://discord.gg/YBYntPJMXg) to see when I will be going live. ## What Do You Have Planned In Terms Of New Games On Stream? Given the accessibility landscape is changing so rapidly and games are adding accessibility features at a rate of knots, all I can say for certain is that the number of new games I cover will likely increase as time goes on. If there are any specific games you'd like to se on stream, feel free to suggest them and I can look into it. ## A Few Rules Of My Own, Along With Some Common Ones * Respect everyone and the Terms Of Service. * On the rare occasions I play multiplayer games, please ask whether you can join a game in the chat first and wait for a response from either myself or those cos-treaming with me. * Please don't use combinations of symbols to write text. If you're going to write, it's good if everyone can read it. * If you want to self-promote your stream, please ask me first and await confirmation before doing so. * Feel free to provide any audio or video-related feedback, but please be constructive whilst doing so ###Spoiler Policy Spoilers are annoying, especially when unbidden or unexpected. I try and keep them to a minimum, but if I'm aware there is spoiler content (say, for instance a piece of dialogue that could lessen the impact of a game's ending), I will say as much when I notice. If you then want to leave to avoid further spoilers, you can feel free to do so. ##Stick Around, Enjoy The Content And Feel Free To Say Hi Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you enjoy learning about how gaming without sight works from my perspective. Who knows, you might even give it a go yourself. Are you up for the challenge?

Below are descriptions of the various emotes available through subscribing to my channel, as well as any other visual content that I may add as channel elements in the future (e.g. GIFs etc). #Emotes ##Follower Emotes (Beta) * Sightl4:Tea: Image of a partially filled mug with "Game Over" written on it, used to represent the ginger tea or other drinks that I have on stream, though this is not the flask I'm known for using. * Sightl4:Toast: An image of two slices of toast, not cut and without butter in this instance. I personally prefer buttered triangles myself. * Sightl4:MaliCat: Mali, a white and tabby cat with a blue collar with a bell, looking into the camera in curiosity. * Sightl4:BooCat: Boo, a tabby cat, curled up with paws and legs crossed, relaxed as ever. ##Tier 1: * Sightl4:Smiley: A headshot image of me smiling and wearing a cap with my logo on it. * Sightl4:Anger: A headshot of me wearing my cap, face screwed up in anger with a fiery background. * Sightl4:Shock: Headshot of me wearing my cap, mouth wide open looking well... Shocked. Possibly also doubles as a hype emote. * Sightl4:DB: DB smiling in a large white cowboy hat. * Sightl4:Logo: My logo, an eye with crossed swords going through it from the top down. ##Tier 2 * Sightl4:Jennarosity: Jennissary smiling and giving a thumbs up *Others to be added later*
