My name is James, aka Skoal42, I began streaming in August '21, and became a Twitch Affiliate the same month. I've always been interested in streaming and finally made the plunge after watching a close friend's stream. I'm a Therapist in the mental health field and my style is different than a traditional therapist. I have a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Social Work. I served in the U.S. Army from 08'-16', my highest rank was Sergeant (E-5), and deployed to Iraq from 09'-10'. My military service, and I'm sure my fellow Veterans can relate, was some of the best and worst years of my life. Regardless, wearing the uniform made me who I am today and I would without question do it again. My hope is to bring you some great content with gaming, share some laughs, and to normalize mental health challenges. Also, I tend to become hyper-focused when I'm gaming so there will be times when I don't say a whole lot.
