Please keep chat free of hate speech, slurs, unnecessary rudeness, spam, self deprecation, or otherwise anything that distracts the chat from being a positive environment for fellow viewers and commentators alike. 2. Serious discussion is not completely prohibited, but I encourage a very active "time and place" mindset for chat. A public stream is not a very appropriate place for personal venting or unnecessary discourse, so keep bummer topics to a minimum. Generally if I find that something is worth addressing in chat, I will open up the discussion myself. 3. Please do not give unrequested game spoilers, puzzle answers, advice, or anything of the sort if I do not SPECIFICALLY, CLEARLY ask you to do so on mic. Rhetorical comments like an idle "what's going on" or "what do I do" while I'm figuring something out do not count as an active request. 4. My friends and I may sometimes make somewhat risqué jokes or comments on stream but, while I generally don't entirely ban chat messages of a similar nature, I unfortunately can not set individual boundaries for every chat member. So I get a little bit stricter with overall chat behavior in this regard. The general sentiment being: if it wouldn't be decent to shout it in public at an Applebee's, maybe don't say it in chat. 5. My mods and I reserve the right to make rulings or enact certain new and/or temporary chat restrictions or standards not listed here at any point that it becomes necessary.
