Snarkwave, here. I'm a long-time gamer, stretching back to my Atari 2600 when I was in my single digits. Since then, I've enjoyed growing up alongside the industry and seeing the industry grow up over time. I'm *nonbinary and demi-ace*. **LGBTQIA2S+ identities are respected and protected here.** I've been streaming on Twitch off and on since 2017, and I've been through a few iterations of the channel since. I'm here to build community, talk games, and enjoy good company. I love the friends I've made on the platform so far, and all the lessons I've learned - even the hard ones (especially the hard ones). I'm also *sober* as of October 2023. My sobriety has informed a lot of my healing around my identity and helped me decide that I wanted to get back to streaming & making content. I think the energy of livestreaming and talking to all sorts of different people kept me doing it even when I was in the throes of addiction, and it's certainly what has me coming back now as a sober activity.
