For the chocolate and pastry recommendations we've discussed, my favorite that I highly recommend are: 1) USA Domestic: John Kelly Dark Chocolate Truffles (Dark Chocolate with French Grey Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate with Walnuts, Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate with Chilli, Dark Chocolate with Bourbon, Semi-Sweet Pumpkin Spice) 2) Foreign: La Maison du Chocolat 3) For other desserts, I highly recommend French macarons (not coconut macaroons!), from Laduree or Paulette's or your local bakery. Any pastry from Laduree, Pierre Herme, or Dalloyau (when in Paris) will float your sweet-tooth boat. If all else fails, be vegetarian and eat oatmeal? It's... almost the same.
