Heyyo! I'm hosting raids now! # Info These raids are **not** hacked, or illegally generated. These are naturally occurring shinies, but I do use [Raid Crawler](https://github.com/LegoFigure11/RaidCrawler) to help speed up the shiny-finding process. I use a setup by [Pokemon Automation](https://github.com/PokemonAutomation/ComputerControl) to automate hosting. You can join as many times as you want since I run these basically all day. **Please try to let others join. Give breaks after joining multiple times** Right now I plan on hosting every day, ideally running 2 separate Pokemon raids. I don't have a dedicated rig, so results may vary Eventually I want to pick up more Switches to run multiple raids at once Thanks for joining <3 # How to Join ## FFA Most times we'll have free-for-all (FFA) going, in which you'll just join by inputting the code that appears on screen. ## Queue Sometimes we'll have queue up for popular mons or when there's a lot of people. You'll usually know it's queue time when the code is blocked out on screen. Here's how to join: 1. [Join our discord server!](https://discord.gg/JhfqAWgYbH). This will not work otherwise. You will receive raid codes via Discord DMs. Twitch will not allow us to message everyone over whispers. 2. Enter "/setup <your twitch username>" in our #bots channel, OR enter that in a DM to Super Bot. If you are joining the server for the first time, Super Bot will send you a welcome DM. 3. Once Super Bot gives you the OK, you can enter "!join" in Twitch chat to join raid queues.

**1. Are these raids hacked or illegal?** No, these are legit. But I do use [Raid Crawler](https://github.com/LegoFigure11/RaidCrawler) on a modded switch to find shinies faster. **2. How long do you run raids for?** I'll do a shiny mon for about 5 hours. If I can switch it up faster, I will. **3. How many raids do you do a day?** Always at least 2. Sometimes 3-4 depending on time. **4. How do I join?** You join by inputting the link code that appear on stream into your game! **5. How many raids can I join?** You can join as many as you'd like. They are first come first serve, however. **6. Why can't I get in?** With so many people trying to get in at once, it can be difficult and/or take awhile. Some things that can help are: 1) refresh the stream to make sure you're not being affected by stream delay and 2) try inputting the code via the touch screen or 3) try inputting code via keyboard. **7. Do you host these manually?** No, I use [Pokemon Automation](https://github.com/PokemonAutomation/ComputerControl) setup to automate the hosting. In short, I have a tiny computer called a microcontroller sending inputs to my switch. This does not require a modded switch. **8. Why do you host shiny raids?** It started as a fun side project because I liked the tech involve and wanted to work with microcontrollers (I learned a bunch). But I also have joined many shiny raids in the past and I like it, so I wanted to give back to the community myself. Especially since there's not many public ones for Pokemon Scarlet / Violet **10. Can I request a shiny?** You _can_, however, it takes the raid crawler ~45 hours to find a specific shiny. So I'll keep requests in mind, but they probably won't happen for awhile. Especially while I'm only running this on one switch. **11. How long does it take to find a new shiny?** Anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour and a half. **12. Do you choose the shinies?** No, I do whatever the Raid Crawler finds first because it's faster. **13. Are there any rewards for subscribing?** Not currently! But in the future I plan on making custom emotes and adding potentially subscriber raids (or something of the sort; nothing is finalized as of yet).
