##Welcome To The Channel##
If you have gotten this far for more info, thanks! 👍
With over 8 years in the community content creation space, this has been the ride of my life.
After I left high school I had no idea what I wanted to be or do. But in my spare time, I tend to test the waters, teach myself new skills, and tinker with anything I can get my hands on...
+ Show production
+ Show/event hosting
+ Event organization (online/offline)
+ Photoshop
+ Coding (HTML/CSS, PHP, JS, Minecraft)
+ Website front/back-end
+ Web hosting
+ Game server hosting
+ Linux basics (command line)
+ Online project manager
+ Filming/video editing
+ Video commentary
Streaming wasn't the first form of online media. In 2009, [Raocow](http://www.youtube.com/Raocow) had inspired me to start up a Youtube channel where I practiced different types of shows/editing. I enjoyed it enough where I continued for ~3 years. During this time I found out about Streaming via Ustream (Nov 2009). Tested it a few times but found it difficult and lacking in quality.
Through a friend, I had discovered Bashurverse. It was a group of friends that were making a Minecraft machinima. The community around it was just starting up so joined up and had some fun. Shortly after making a few new friends, I had taken on admin duties for their website (forums/email), community Minecraft server, and filming servers for their show. As things went along, I also became the project manager of the machinima. There was much learned from this short time but it gave me a sneak peek into the content creation space online and at conventions.
After, I found Twitch.tv. The first few faces I remember were [MANvsGAME](http://www.twitch.tv/MANvsGAME), [romscout](https://www.twitch.tv/romscout), and [LethalFrag](http://www.twitch.tv/LethalFrag). After rediscovering how great the medium was, I decided I was going to give streaming another try. Went out and researched the parts needed for a computer and built it, rearranged my room in to a makeshift studio, and sent a message to streamers asking for some advice. I was very happy to get some replies back and I acted on their advice.
Since then I have worked through retail management for 2 stores, spoke on a panel at SXSW, host/guest on multiple TwitchCon panels, host/guest/live production work for charity productions with/for Hollywood talent, and created the community I have always wanted to share with everyone. A place where everyone has been able to enjoy talking with others about their life, finding ways to improve, or just enjoying each other's company. That is why I love streaming and why I will continue it for a long time. Regardless if it is something I can live off of.
Through thick or thin, it is the experiences we share that push me forward to continue here and in life.
