In a general sense, just keep your social etiquette in mind, and think before you speak or otherwise act. I generally attempt to maintain a hands off policy for all lines of discussion (jovial or sensitive) as well as almost all lines of politically incorrect bullshittery in general lest either someone speaks up (in which I'll decide what I make of it, it may not even end in your favor) or else I decide outright that an individual is being a thickheaded troublemaker or asshole. The Cliff note: Don't be an idiot, and just let any and all conversations take their course unless you have good reason to speak up against one. Backseating is not welcomed and will not be tolerated. I get that people may know more about a game than I do and want to be helpful, but given that my shtick is playing through games more often blind than experienced, it's all about sharing my experience with a game I either played but never finished before or am flat out clueless in the first place. Don't ruin that for the rest of us. If you feel that huge of an urge to be helpful, it doesn't hurt to ask first. Storytelling spoilers, even if false, will be met with an outright ban.
