I'm Esther from CA, USA. I realized I could paint after watching a watercolor tutorial, and now I can't stop. I love it so much. I also am a total bird-person, budgies left a big impact on me growing up, and I currently have two living with me :) Painting budgies brings me joy, so here I am! I have two budgies who you might hear in the background sometimes. Jarvie, I brought home in May 2020. He's a hyper sensitive birdie who loves Momo so much. He's usually the noisy one, totally relationship-oriented. Momo, I brought home in August 2020. He's quiet and independent, has a love-hate relationship with Jarvie I think. XD They're like brothers. :) They free-roam my room, usually only going to their cage to eat or sleep. I'm glad they have each other, but I'm hoping over the years they'll trust me enough to land on my head mid-stream :P

In Feb 2022, I began study streams where I try to learn Python from scratch via tutorials, and more recently, the Python Crash Course (book written by Eric Matthes). Streaming helps me with consistency, and these lessons really just feel like a long series of Wordle puzzles right now. It would be great if I could eventually start building things with it... but I have a ways to go. To my art friends: Thank you for bearing with me during the coding streams, it's def harder to follow. ^^;; To all the coders I am meeting: Thanks for your encouragrement as I slowly grasp these new abstract concepts. My ADD brain is definitely showing, but ya'll have made this experience way more tolerable, and I sometimes even think I could maybe be a coder one day. :)
