My name is Tony, and yes I'm legally blind. I'm 44 and have been playing games for a majority of those years, although I have always been more interested in having fun than being a competitive player. I have recently moved from Chicago, IL to Brisbane Queensland, Australia to be with my partner Abductme, who you will see either playing games with me, or in chat. We met when I was still a new streamer back in 2018 while playing a now dead game SOS and our relationship blossomed from there. If you are blind how are you playing games? Well, I am LEGALLY blind, which means I cannot correct my vision to better than 20/200. I actually have a retinal disease called "Stargardt Disease" It's an inherited form of Macular Degeneration that is incurable. Basically I can't read without a magnifying glass unless the print is blown up very large or see faces from about 5 feet and beyond. The center of my vision is a blind spot, so i have to focus the center of my vision above what I need to look at to use my lower peripheral to see clearly but not well. I'm sitting about 2 feet away from my 50" plasma if that's any indication. Here is a clothing company that was created by 2 brothers that also have Stargardt disease, and 100% of the profits go towards research and finding a cure. I am self deprecating and I don't mind a rib here and there. Don't step over the boundary though and it will be cool. 2.
