TorchFork Mob is the home of genuine gaming experiences. Play and participate with us—the dedicated gamers standing at the forefront of digital entertainment, new and old. After all, there's no greater passion than the type you find inside a mob.
Rules are simple (these will be adjusted over time as needed):
1. Respect the streamer(s) and mods, and listen to their decisions. If we tell you to stop doing something - STOP. We will not tolerate your refusal to follow our rules here.
2. No racism/sexism/homophobia or other bigotry is allowed.
3. No harassment of our people or of others in chat.
4. Don't post links without permission. Ask the streamer or a mod. There's a bunch of us. Someone should be able to respond if we're streaming.
5. No backseat gaming unless the streamer has said they're okay with it. If you want to offer advice or suggestions - ask and make sure first. But remember, we're the ones streaming and playing so it's our decision if it's okay or not.
6. Be respectful and civil towards each other. If you get into a fight, you're probably going to get some kind of moderator action.
7. Technicalities are NOT a defense for your behavior - saying "I'm not actually poking you, my finger is just in front of your face!" will still get you banned.
8. If we allow you to join in on any of the games we play - ABSOLUTELY NO HACKING OR OTHER CHEATING IS ALLOWED. If you cheat in any way on a game that we have allowed you to join, you WILL be banned permanently.
Refusal to follow any of these rules will get you banned. If something is in a grey area, we'll decide whether we're going to allow it or not, and we're not going to argue with you about it. Arguing will only make us more likely to ban you.
Also, since this is a community channel and we work as a group - messaging any of us privately to complain about a mod's actions is unlikely to help you. It's best if you learn to just follow the rules and be a decent audience member - cause then we'll love you!
