I never believed that I was creative. Or, at least, I never thought I could ever create anything "good". I used to run from and resist my creativity. Now, I draw, paint, write cringey poems, and allow my curiosity to lead me forward. In addition to growing and developing my art, my dream is to inspire others to tap into their own creative power and prove that anyone can create!

Here in our little AR"T Studio, we strive to create a community in which we help each other grow, learn to be ourselves, and nurture our creative development. By following our curiosity through exploring and experimenting, we seek to provide a safe space where we can learn by taking risks, making a mess, and having the courage to fail.

I had given up on being a creator entirely until I discovered AR”T, a nonsense concept born during my time in college. AR"T was all about first attempts and diving into the unknown. It was a process of creating through experimentation, mess-making, failure, and fun. AR"T was about asking "What if...?" It was admitting you didn’t know something, but allowing your curiosity to push you forward anyway. Suddenly, something clicked—I grew to be less afraid to express myself honestly and playing more in my art. For the first time in my life, I truly felt like an artist.
