Randall Erkelens (DJ RASCER - pronouced "racer") has been a club DJ since 1987 working in various nightclubs in Colorado including: GT's, The Library, Rock Island, Deadbeat Club, 1082 Broadway, The Church & Onyx. Currently, Randall is a resident DJ at the MILKBAR (Denver, Colorado, USA) on the 4th Saturday of the month playing '80s and '90s new wave, synthpop, etc. Milk also features Twitch streamers DJEliLabadie, Slave1, DJTow3r and DJMikeRich. We're all family there. Please check out their streams as well. Growing-up with dance music pre-digital era, Randall learned to mix on turntables, made the switch to CDs then digital controller. Today, records are still a passion and the growing collection will come out from time to time at the nightclub and weekly here. When not DJing, Randall is active with his modern synthpop band ELOQUENT. See link below. A pop sound rooted in '80s synthpop. Happy, uplifting songs are the staple sound behind the band. You can also find his past band Tristraum out there on iTunes. A dark wave project that produced an album and two singles. Both bands appear on Section 44 Records. A label started by Randall and Pierre Norman that now includes a few dozen synthpop acts from around the globe. Randall has performed with the '80s band Naked Eyes on lead keyboards. The band is known for its hits "Promises Promises" and "Always Something There to Remind Me" (see photo above). In the '90s, he was part of Twitch Remix Service based out of San Francisco. Twitch released 15 double-record sets, 11 CD compilations and various DJ tools/loops and singles that include The Ultraviolet Catastrophe "The Trip." Why Rascer? Six letters. First two of each of my first, middle and last name.

I'm in a modern synthpop band called Eloquent with Steven Cochran (eloquentsteven on twitch). It's inspired by two bands primarily. The Pet Shop Boys and Erasure with a lot of Anything Box thrown in.
