**You Got Marin... is this your big chance?**
I was raised on the NES, and have carried that torch ever since. When I began streaming in 2016, my hope was to push myself to be less introverted, and meet some new friends. Somehow I even got a husband out of the deal! (He streams too - check him out over at the [Co-Op Cove](https://www.twitch.tv/genogaron)!)
We have two cats, both of them voids. Luna was named for the Sailor Moon character, but her full name is Lunatic. Dorito is named as such because he has three corners (he's a tripod!) and is a spicy little goober.
From 2018 - 2020 I was part of a pretty rad retro game themed charity group. However, I ended up facing serious burn-out, and it made me realize how much more comfortable I am behind the scenes - hence why I prefer to hang out in friends' channels over streaming myself.
But on the rare occasion a Marin stream does happen... Welcome! Expect lots of horrible game play with a side of salt, blaming the game for my lack of skill, and a lot of me laughing at my own dumb jokes.
