**Hello there!** I'm Jack. I started streaming on Twitch in 2019, and in the time since then I've been settling into my groove. Initially, I simply wanted to play the games that I enjoy, and show people why I love these games so much! Nowadays, I still strive for this philosophy, but I'm genuinely hopeful to make new friends and continue seeking out "my people," as it were. On my channel, I tend to be focused on playing retro games, especially nostalgic comfort games. A lot of my alerts are based on the SNES game Earthbound, which is basically my favorite game ever! I also tend to play a lot of platforming games, it's practically my comfort genre. Other favorites include *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild*, *Shadow of the Colossus*, *BioShock*, and *Super Mario World*. I also consider myself a mental health positive streamer. As someone who's battled anxiety disorders and depression most of his adult life, I love being open about my own journey with mental health. Every Monday, I do a Mental Health Discussion stream and I welcome full engagement during these shows. When I'm not gaming, I'm checking out movies new and old, and supporting my friends when I'm able to! I work full-time, so sometimes it's hard to catch my breath--but I'm always bound and determined to keep walking! ***Be good to yourselves, and be good to each other. Disrespectful behavior and language will not be tolerated. *Additionally, if you receive unsolicited DMs from other viewers, let me or a moderator know as soon as possible.* **(2) Do not discuss politics and religion.** This should be a given. **(3) Ask before offering game hints.** I think the thrill of gaming is solving a puzzle or figuring out a difficult boss fight by myself. I appreciate you wanting to help! I do. Just be sure to ask if I want it first. **(4) No blatant self-promotion.** I always welcome discussions relating to streaming. With this said, please refrain from speaking in ways that could be perceived as advertising your streams, or your friend's. **(5) Read the room, and be mindful with what you're saying.** I'm open to discussing several topics, mental health or otherwise. For the sake of keeping the chat a safe environment for other viewers, avoid discussing anything that could be triggering for others. Repeat violations could lead to timeouts, warnings, or a ban. During these streams I encourage viewers to share their stories about said topic! *Note that I am not a licensed therapist; I encourage all viewers to speak with a professional for clinical diagnoses or other help. Users feeling unsafe should contact emergency services.* **Wednesdays: Wildcard!** On Wednesdays, it could be anything. Some Just Chatting, another longplay, maybe something else random. Either way, it's another JackAttack stream! **Fridays: Long Play Day!** Every Friday, I chip away at a game that takes a little more time to get through! I focus on one longplay at a time. **Saturdays: Saturday Evening Challenge** To close out the week, I play a retro game that's known to be slightly more challenging and make it a goal to improve on it until I finish it off! I usually start off casual but eventually work my way towards being an ace at it, if I can help it.
