Recovering academic. Found twitch during the pandemic. (Barely capable of rhymes. At best, two sentences at a time.) Made some quality friends and decided to get in on the fun. From me, you can expect easily distracted conversation, an appropriate level of profanity, and off-handed pop culture references. As far as "content," expect indie and retro games so not to overpower my 8-year-old laptop – the bulk of which will be first playthroughs. Ideally, we’ll have a weekly music stream... and a Must See TV stream on Thursdays (where we either watch a remarkable flop, a cult favorite, or selections of a long-running series I've never seen previously). Community Expectations: Hateful rhetoric has no place here, but I will be especially swift to deal with any demeaning language targeting marginalized groups. Aside from this, my biggest rule is reading the room. Meaning that even when this community deals in sarcasm and innuendo (which can/will happen from time to time), please be respectful of each other in chat and myself. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and welcome here – whether they’re a frequent chatter or predominantly lurk!
