# Path of Exile You are mostly going to see Path of Exile gameplay on this channel. I got into Path of Exile late 2014 and after playing just a couple of weeks in permanent Standard mode I decided to play almost exclusively Hardcore temporary leagues from then on. (Terrible idea, don't do this if you want to learn the game and become good.) My first hardcore experience was Beyond League and my first league start was Bloodlines League. Growing up I did not have internet access at home until I was 19, so I always was a fairly casual gamer and even stopped gaming entirely at some point to pursue electronic music production as a hobby. I eventually fell victim to the LoL-Hype in 2010 but stopped because I wasn't able to overcome my toxic mindset, but I got to taste competitive gaming here and started to develop a more competetitive mindset and approach to gaming. Because I had played some Diablo 2 offline back when I was growing up, I instantly fell in love with Path of Exile. It just seemed to be a very well done expansion and variation on the basic D2 ARPG idea, so I have been playing since and continuously been trying to get good.
