CoTeCiO

Hey everyone! I'm Co, a Chilean dude that loves retro games. My streams focus on nostalgia, nerdiness and authenticity, playing almost exclusively on retro hardware and with emphasis in capturing that hardware as accurately as possible. Add some insanity on top of that because I am crazy too!

I'm Co, a Chilean guy that, because of not being up to date with technology had to settle with games from before the year 2000. In the end, I started liking them and now they're my jam. Now I finally have a decent computer so I can stream those same old games because I refuse to be with the times. Because I'm not a native speaker, my accent is not perfect and I might fall short of vocabulary from time to time. Well, I try my best! I'm in my 30's, so those "ok, boomer" jokes are getting to me.

I'm live Wednesdays through Fridays at 5:00 GMT -3

Just common sense stuff, no hate speech, racism, homophobia or arguing about dumb things. The idea is to create a pleasant atmosphere and avoid causing conflicts for topics unrelated to the stream. Another thing, if I'm playing something I haven't played before, don't spoil or tell me what to do. The idea is that I have to figure out that stuff by myself.

I had two options, an ancient Logitech webcam, or an ancient Hi8 camcorder. Because this channel is focused in retro gaming, I thought it fitted to have a camera as old as the games I'm playing, so I get that nice retro look. That Hi8 camcorder has been getting worse with the years and got replaced with an S-VHS-C camera.
