Hello players!!! My name is Danger Doug. You can call me Danger or Doug, doesn't matter! I'm a variety streamer who gravitates more toward anime, horror, and mystery games but of course, I'll log in for the occasional Fortnite or Super Smash Bros. party. My first exposure to video games was just playing Solitaire back when I was a little boy with my Dad on our old Windows 95 computer, dial-up internet included! I didn't own my first game until grade school when I saw many of the other kids playing Pokemon. When I saw the amazing creatures leveling up, evolving, and engaging in Epic battles, I was instantly hooked! I worked hard, saved up all of my allowance money, and begged my parents to take me to Best Buy to get it, and thus my journey began! Some of my favorite video games growing up were Star Fox 64, Final Fantasy, Super Mario, and Pokemon! As a college radio host while pursuing my undergraduate degree, and I discovered that I had a love for broadcasting, talking to others while LIVE and putting together a show for an audience. I became super passionate about bringing out my personality and entertaining others. I didn't get into content creation until around 2018 after I earned my MBA in Accounting and Finance in 2017 and wrote a book. I tried YouTube for a bit in 2018, and then, a friend of mine recommended that I try Twitch. It seemed like the perfect match! I could combine my love for broadcasting and my love for video games into streaming! I have brought out my creativity in ways that I never thought could be possible! I've been here for a little over a year, and I have loved every second of it! I LOVE playing around with video effects in OBS, especially ones that amplify my personality. Always open to questions if anyone needs any help setting up their own work. AND I absolutely LOVE supporting and promoting other streamers. In 2020, I plan to continue broadcasting on Twitch while also posting new content on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok. My goal is to eventually become a Twitch Partner, and even though it may take a while, I know that as a community we can create amazing content together as we build this media center! In my spare moments at home, I spend time watching shows on Netflix and Disney Plus, hanging out with friends, travelling, hiking, drinking wine, writing poetry, long walks on the beach, etc. Any other questions just let me know!
