♦ I have suffered with a nasty disease called Gastroparesis since shortly after the birth of my oldest child in 2014. This means one of the nerves that controls the contractions of my stomach muscles is damaged causing it to be lazy/paralyzed. ♦ I was officially diagnosed in 2016 after months of vomiting everything I tried to eat & losing 60+ pounds ♦ My diet is very limited & I survive mainly on liquid & vitamins. No fiber, no fat, no residue. No matter how hard I've tried (even thru 2 other pregnancies) I cannot gain & keep weight on my body :/ ♦ August is Gastroparesis awareness month! The mascot is a Sloth to represent the slow movement of the GI tract & Green is the color to help raise awareness! :\ Ask me for more information! (: I love educating people because that is how we connect ♥
