I have been playing the art of D&D for 15+ years, I still remember my first game after school in the lunchroom with my DM and two friends. The rush of rolling some dice and creating a fantasy character whilst slaying monsters is the best feeling ever. The game has helped me in so many ways, by taking me away to distant lands while playing a variety of characters and letting me use my creativity to the fullest and forgetting the world we live in. I have always drawn ideas and inspiration from reading so much when I was younger. Things like Lord of the Rings, The Inheritance Cycle, and even Harry Potter to name a few. I now run several games and create my own content for others to enjoy so they may too get that same rush I always feel when I Play D&D. I may be a nerd, but when you join my worlds or sit at my table you forget all your troubles and live out a fantasy life you have always wanted to be or play in.
