Dominik Audio is (more than anything) a blender of the broken beat. Everything from breaks and glitch hop to drum & bass and trap. He started out learning how to DJ with house music in a dirty "bassment" but progressed fairly quickly to house parties, block parties and raves. Club residencies in his home town of San Francisco came next around 2003. It was around then that he started moving into playing breakbeats and has never looked back. His first cd release (when they actually made those) was in 2005 under the monicor MDK Deejay entitled Chops and Raggas. The cd release party was the first of many events produced by Dominik between 2005 and 2007. After which he continued to DJ for private events and YouTube videos until around 2017. Then (as happens to a lot of folks), life kinda got in the way and he took a long break from creating until the great DJ revival of 2020. That was the rebirth of Dominik's passion for music and he has since added residencies with the likes of the Fraktured Nation's San Francisco chapter and Phreak Recordings. He started The Chop Shop SF, a streaming and recording studio for DJ's and the home of his show The Weekly Re-Up. The show and the studio have already hosted such guests as Simply Jeff, Deekline, Tone Abstract, Wicked Wes, DFast Beats, Xosex, Reid Speed, Keith Mackenzie, Jim Funk and Ethney, Firestar Soundsystem, and MANY more.
