Hello and welcome to my little corner of Twitch. I'm drownedsummer or summer as it frequently gets shortened to, Gaming in many forms has been a big part of my life since the 1980s starting out with the BBC Micro and then moving onto the NES. I've owned many of the main consoles over the years SNES, Playstation, Dreamcast etc. My main gaming machines these days tend to be the PC, PS4 & the Nintendo Switch. I don't really feel like my true passion with gaming started until I discovered Japanese RPGs when I first played Secret of Mana. For many years JRPGS where the main genre I played. I'm big fan of Squaresoft. My focus on Twitch is playing story-based or open world type games. Generally I play game from beginning to end with all of my gameplay captured on camera. I like to play games through at a pace and difficulty I'm comfortable with. i also have a fondness for visual novels and weirder niche games. While I do play dating simulators I tend to go for ones with a weird edge to them such as Hatoful Boyfriend or Doki Doki Literature Club. I also like to voice the characters, providing my own interpretations for their voices which is why all sound like they are from Derbyshire. Usually I stream five days a week. Due to other commitments I don't stream on Wednesday or Friday evenings. My schedule is usually evening streams on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday starting around 1800/1900 and ending around 2100/2200. Saturday nights which Unintentionally become Switch Saturdays are usually between 1900-0000. in the day on Sunday I attempt to stream between 0900-1630 focusing on longer typically story driven games. I'm usually in a few games at a time and have played many systems over the years so feel free to ask me a question about tabletop. I also listen to a wide variety of music but my preffered genre tends to be post-rock. I frequently have recommendations if people are curious about it and I'm always interested to have new music suggested to me. A) Almost certainly normal or easy. I'm mostly playing these games to relax and have fun. Q) What sort of games do you play? A) A mix of story based, open world, rpgs, visual novels, survival horror and some action games. I don't play competitive multiplayer, military shooters, battle royale games, survival/crafting games they don't particuarly interest me. Q) Can I recommend a game? A) Sure, providing it fits with the style of games I play. If you are going to suggest Fortnite I will politely request that you don't.
