Hearthstone / Rock Band streamer - I don't know how people can read chat and play Rock Band at the same time but I definitely can't =X

Stream info

My 2 go-to games to stream are Hearthstone and Rock Band 4 (RIP Twitch Sings). I used to play World of Warcraft at a reasonably high level (many server first kills but definitely not world first). I don't usually play a wide variety of games, but could be talked into streaming other games, especially if they're free. I've streamed off and on for a couple years, but I finally have a good enough computer that I'm going to start doing it regularly. Hopefully I'll be able to set a schedule when I figure things out. On that note, feel free to provide any recommendations on what to do differently and I may test it out, especially if it's free to do. Equipment: NVIDIA HP Gaming PC Ryzen 5 5600G 3060 GPU Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 if you see a webcam, then the microphone is: Shure PGA58-QTR Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone with Yamaha AG03 3-Channel Mixer / 1 Microphone if streaming RB4, I'm using an Elgato HD60 S capture card

Rock Band

For a link to a (more or less) updated sortable spreadsheet of my Rock Band song collection, use the command: !rbsonglist For the uninitiated to the lingo (from easiest to most difficult): GS = gold stars (6*: expert mode only) CS = crimson stars (6* : brutal mode only) FC = full combo (100% without any overhits) FC is available in any mode, but easy/medium/hard are hardly worth mentioning. :-P Brutal mode is essentially expert mode with the notes mostly hidden (get covered almost immediately). My Rock Band 4 crew, Quesi's Casa de Queso is #1 on PS4 in lifetime Rivals points. This is the main motivation behind why I play RB4 the most. It also doesn't hurt I hold an official world record.... https://www.speedrun.com/rb4

Hearthstone

I'm a F2P Hearthstone player, but I've started playing enough that I've made legend in standard every month for over a year now, usually finishing top 3000 NA, with a couple stints in the top 200s and a best finish of roughly top 700 I think. I'm a sore loser (thanks for passing that on mom), so when I play I'll usually be distracting myself by also singing on Rock Band. I'll spend a lot of time doing random things to grind gold and achievements, along with arena for packs.

Social

Most people have one of these tabs so I'll Jebait with the title... I don't have Twitter or Instagram and probably never will, but I'll offer some details about myself. I'm currently an adjunct professor of mathematics. Adjunct means part-time, so I have much more time to play than you'd think and make much less than you'd think ;) I'm gonna be spending some time looking for a good balance of classes and stream time once I get settled on a schedule. I'm also on the autism spectrum, which I only found out recently. It's in fact one of my motivations for trying to stream more, a sort of 'safer' way of trying to be more social, as I usually only leave my house for work and special occasions. I try to lurk in a lot of streams, but I'm a very quiet person, even in a chatroom, so I hope you're not offended if you're aware of my presence in your stream but I'm being quiet (tbh I'm probably playing RB4 at the same time). As such, you needn't worry about being the same as me, so feel free to !lurk awhile. Feel just as free to chat, but be warned, I'm a terrible multi-tasker. I'll likely only be responding between songs or if there is a long enough break during the song. I'm from New Jersey, and would be open to the idea of live collaborating some day in either of the main 2 games. I'd even consider TwitchCon, though the ordeal does seem daunting to me (for perspective, the expense is in fact the least of my concerns).

Doggos

As you can tell from the social panel, you're not gonna find the drunk streams here, nor the super-energetic streams or off the wall streams (though I do have a nice, albeit dry, sense of humor). What I do have, aside from musical love and talent, is a calming presence. Not only is my voice on the soft side, but my demeanor is as well. This tends to attract the doggos to me, mostly for an area to rest. So if you're looking for a place to cozy up and get ready for bed, this should hopefully be a good stop! The majority of the doggos in the house are fosters, mostly from Just in Time rescue. If you want to get on a first name basis with the doggos: Bear - the black pit bull came after surviving surgery after being shot by a shotgun twice, once in the face. Though he still had to have some pellets left in that may or may not cause trouble down the road, he is basically unaffected now, including regaining his sight after almost losing it in one eye. I had to carry him around the first day or two until he got over being understandably afraid. Now he gets upset whenever I leave the house, making him the most likely doggo to be hanging nearby. I also call him Mr. Bear because we're close so I feel obligated to call him by his formal name. Buddy - The black shepherd/collie is both our oldest and best behaved. If you see bald spots on him it's due to his allergy issues. He might be in my room more than any of the others, but always on the floor. Lola - the little brown bulldog is the longest resident of the house and likely will only be seen if the water bowl is in view. But if you hear fight sounds, that's Lola and Nick having words. Muffin - The little white Shorkie was my grandmother's until she died. Generally we stick to medium-sized dogs but she's got enough attitude to keep everyone else in check anyway. Nick - the white bulldog has some allergy, and as a result, urinary issues, which made them give up on adopting, so he is now a permanent foster. I also call him Chubbaroo, as I feel confident all his wrinkles and fat could hold things similar to a kangaroo's pouch. LUL Randy - This brown beagle/hound is the newest resident. He was hit by a car, and though he's recovered from surgery, is still extremely skittish, so you may see him a lot but only for fleeting moments. Raspberry - the tan pit bull has already had surgery on one leg, and the other is in such condition to cause her to often hobble while walking, but not be damaged to the point to have surgery on it. She's actually quite stubborn, but luckily her only real bad habit is crying and barking too much in constant pursuit of food. She has thyroid issues, so if you're wondering, she's not pregnant, just fat. She's always happy and loving. I also call her Pretty Girl, because she's a pretty girl. Kreygasm
