Class Styles

Bedtime Yoga: Gentle Yoga in bed for women and men, morning or evening. Ultra gentle Yoga and breath work to sedate the body in preparation for deep sleep and relaxation or to gently awaken the body for the day ahead. Yoga in bed is for beginners and restoration. Similar to Yin yoga with shorter holds, this class includes pranayama (breath work) and gentle movements with the breath. Floor core and gentle flow: This is is a Yang-Yin style of class where we work to activate the core for optimal pelvic health which is important for spinal support, posture and even your self worth and confidence. The second half is restorative stretching, longer holds and alignment for tired spines and achy muscles. Lengthen and soften your muscles; relax your mind. Vinyasa/Flow Yoga: This is a sweat and stretch dynamic flow class. We activate the core and move with the breath to build heat in the muscles, align posture and lengthen our limbs. There is relaxation and stretching towards the end and you should feel like you've had a bit of a work out followed by complete relaxation.

I have a background in welfare work and I'm currently studying my Masters in Occupational Therapy. Through my own personal challenges in life and those of others I've worked with I know that having just one thing in life that you can plug into and feel relaxed and nourished can make all the difference.
