I'm a 66 year old grandma who loves video games and making people smile and laugh. And I am an author. No really, I am. I enjoy open world games and love to talk about stories and characters. I have never eaten a scallop.

I am a 64 year old grandmother who loves her family, books, video games and dogs. I am also an author and editor. If you're curious about my books and writing I invite you to visit my Amazon page--just search for Joyce Magnin. My secret identity is driving instructor. That's right, I teach 16 year old kids how to drive. I fell in love with video games many, many years ago and I can hardly believe I have the privilege to share my devotion to so many of you folks. Thanks for joining in. Be Peaceful.

The Gaming Grammy Misson Statement I love video games. I am thrilled to be able to share this love with so many people. As my name implies, I am an IRL grandmother, and my hope is that all the goodness wrapped up in the name of Grammy comes across in my streams—sometimes they might be more like a choppy, runaway river but that's OK. I like to have fun and I like to laugh. The Gaming Grammy is known to be the place to come for posse shenanigans (when we are playing RDR), hijinks, tomfoolery and of course the rampant use of dynamite. I’m not the greatest player but I do my best. Mostly I endeavor to connect with my viewers on a personal level. I try to remember the things they say and am always there with a bit of Grammy wisdom. But I am never pushy. And I certainly don't know everything. I accept everyone no matter who they are because: I believe it is important to be your authentic self. Strive for that. I believe every word of the Nicene Creed and it’s OK if you don’t. I hope to be as much of Jesus to my viewers as possible. There is a silly line that asks, WWJD? Answer. Love first. I am not perfect but when I say I care, I truly mean I care. I believe as Emily Dickinson (my fav poet) did. “My friends are my estate.” What better legacy could I have then to leave my friends knowing they were loved. I believe in HOPE. Emily also said, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul that sings the tune without the words and never stops at all.” Hope is eternal no matter what our circumstances. I believe it when God said, “I am no respecter of persons.” In other words, God doesn’t give two hoots about your work, your sexual orientation, your wealth or lack of wealth or any of your earthly ways. He/She looks upon the heart. The heart is what matters. I believe in doing everything (even streaming) from a position of love first. When you start from that place, everything else builds from there. I believe video games are an amazing place to find friends and build community, especially in a world that has gone off the rails and can feel unsafe. I believe I am building a community of loving, safe people where everyone can feel accepted and cared for, welcome and free. I believe in laughter and humor. Laughter is truly the best medicine. Love, Grammy

The Gaming Grammy has the best moderators in the business. I am forever in their debt as they endeavor (sometimes frustratingly so) to keep me organized, up to date, safe and generally happy. They provide support, technical wisdom and an added measure of love to the stream. The Gaming Grammy is also looking for more moderators. If you think you have what it takes to keep the stream in line please message me privately. I'd love to chat.
