Hi, I'm Annamarie (she/her/hers). I am a museum preservationist and preparator! As far as I know, I'm the only person who does taxidermy on Twitch. For 2023, I'm on a new adventure in North Dakota, USA. I have a contract position to prepare fossils at the Badlands Dinosaur Museum!

Art, Science and dead stuff. In 2020, I lost my job at a museum, so I started streaming to fill the void. I love talking about science, art, food, and generally running after weird tangents.
In 2023, I landed a temporary position preparing dinosaur fossils in North Dakota! There are some technical challenges to streaming from the lab, but I'll try to get that going as regularly as I can.
No set schedule at the moment, gotta reshuffle some stuff.
Q: I thought you did taxidermy?
A: I do! However, while I'm temporarily relocated to Dickinson, ND, I don't have the space for taxidermy. I can still talk about it lots, but for now those projects are on hold.
Q: You aren't in Chicago anymore? Where are your kitties!?!
A: I'm still based in Chicago. My kitties, loving spouse, and most of my stuff are still there. I'm in North Dakota for half of 2023, rockin' a little studio apartment.
Q: Are the fossils real? Did you dig them up?
A: Yup, they are real. I didn't dig them up, instead my job is to do the detail cleaning and repair now that they are in the lab, so they can be available for research and display.
