About Goblin Rescue: Hi there, my name is Malin. I'm the artist and creator behind Goblin Rescue! I am a woman who has spent many hand-crunching hours creating and practicing art, music and content creation. Now, I know what you are thinking: "Where are all the goblins?!" Well, my fellow human, the goblins inside Goblin Rescue are animals. The term goblin is symbolic to reference the way animals can behave. Goblin Rescue is my passion project, it is the way I can express myself and share my stories and perspectives on life and events. I heavily focus on drawing and creating art around animals, and it is usually light-hearted. My art is original concepts and features my main characters, Tots the Fox, Gooboi, and Reggie. I'm currently working on writing and storyboarding the plot, history, characters, and world of Goblin Rescue. I would love to turn Goblin Rescue into an animated series when I get further along. However, until then, I am creating a Goblin Rescue Tarot Deck. Goblin Rescue shares a different perspective on the real lives of animals and their caretakers. My overall message with Goblin Rescue is to help people heal themselves so they can start loving something more. Goblin Rescue's story takes IRL animals we have as "pets" and uses their perspective to share their story. When these animals drift off and fall asleep in the IRL world, they wake up in a world unlike the one they live in. It is full of color, plants, and fun technology; it's full of open land where they can run, play, and build with other goblins. These animals find they can start expressing their thoughts and ideas and can start being true to themselves.  While dreaming inside Goblin Rescue, they are greeted by Tots the Fox! The one and only little guy who is fearless in taking on any adventure, as long as it doesn't involve missing lunch. Tots is the main character of Goblin Rescue, and he is based on my pets' personalities. The other two main characters are Gooboi the Goo and Reggie the Raccoon, who accompany Tots as they explore the world around them. Creating the story and animated series of Goblin Rescue is time-consuming. This is a passion project I find myself putting every ounce of my time into, as it brings me so much joy to do so. I am a self-employed full-time artist who dreams of one day seeing Goblin Rescue blossom into what I imagine it to be.
