My name is Aleks and I go by Grim or Grimmy. I live in the UK, I'm Turkish, 24 years old. During the beginning of my streaming career, I was a full-time career for my mother who was diagnosed with brain cancer on December 26th 2018. During this tough year, I was able to overcome my social anxiety and create some amazing friendships thanks to this platform. During the early hours of December 2nd 2019, my mother passed away; my amazing family and community gave me strength. My mother was very proud of our twitch community and how far I grew. I always spoke to her about members of the community and she was always very keen to watch fellow streamers. For that reason, I decided to create a project that I called the “Community Rose Project”. We all gathered together and brought roses for me to take to the funeral. One white rose represented one community member and one pink rose represented family members who weren’t able to come to the funeral. (A picture can be found on my Instagram). I primarily play Apex on Playstation, however, I also play Grand Theft Auto 5, Among Us, Gang Beasts, Need for speed, Pokemon Go, Viscera Cleanup Detail, Jackbox Party Games, Sims 4, and many other amazing titles. I’m planning to stream sandbox and indie games so make sure to hit that follow to join the journey. My current goal is to build a community with positive vibes, so if you have something disgusting to say this isn’t a place for you. I’ve spent too much blood, sweat, and tears and I won’t have a troll ruin it for me or my community and family.
