Depri’s Story: My real life name is Joel. I’m 31 and living in Oakland, CA with my girlfriend Kelsey and our two pets Cali (11 year old tabby/tortie cat) and Moose (6 month old Pomsky Pup). I’ve been a healer/support player since my very first MMO (FFXI) when I was 16. I got severely depressed, dropped out of high school, and spent all day every day healing with my white mage Depri (Short for the german word Deprimert, meaning depressed). That love for being the party healer never went away but also never did the depression which has come and gone all my life since. It’s been a tough fight but one I win more often than I lose. How? Just like online games, I win by surrounding myself with people who help and support me. This stream gives me something to work on every day that I’m passionate about. This channel and community connects me with others in a fun positive light. So far it’s been a blast and I’m loving the community here. <3

This new channel, Healers4Hire, will focus on healer and support play styles in a multitude of games. WoW, FFXIV, League of Legends, Overwatch, as well as whatever pops up as fun and challenging. Occasionally I might play something non-healer related. Like right now I am getting ready for Sea of Thieves, a new online pirate adventure game. Hence some of the pirate theme on this channel. :D Also, new videos every week. I plan to create engaging videos to premire here as well as post on my youtube channel (big button below).
