On this channel, I stream myself practicing a few things I've been learning over the past few years: 🖌️ Chinese calligraphy (書法/書道) – I usually copy out four pages from the previous week's lesson – often based on a famous old inscription. ⌨️ Machine stenography – I mix it up with typing races and realtime speech transcription, random quotes/words as well as your requested texts or videos for me to practice on (ca. 200–1000 words or 2–10 minutes). I use the hobbyist keyboard [The Uni](https://stenokeyboards.com/products/the-uni-v4) in tandem with the open software [Plover](https://www.openstenoproject.org/plover/). I'm always working on the stream overlay (which may include graphics not designed by me), so let me know if you have ideas for more engagement! Though I'm not aiming to become a pro at these pursuits, I do like to improve – this channel is all about the joy of learning, sharing, and growing together, all while listening to some classic music I've curated to complement the stream.
