About me
I'm Lars (aka *jazzthief81*, aka *Jazzie*) and I'm a retro-gamer and coder from Belgium.
My favorite platforms are Commodore 64 and Amiga. These are the systems I grew up with.
I have recently also started to appreciate the Nintendo Entertainment System and its extensive game catalog.
Because of my Commodore/Amiga background, I'm not just about gaming and I like to tinker a lot: coding, music (MOD/MIDI), graphics, ...
I enjoy competition and occasionally take part in on-line gaming competitions.

My streams
I stream when I have time and when I feel like streaming.
If I stream on a weekday, it'll usually be in the late evening (roughly 8pm-11pm) Central European Time.
During weekends I might stream during day time CET as well.
These are the things I stream most often:
# NES Tetris
I became obsessed with this version of Tetris after watching the Classic Tetris World Championship final between Jonas and Jeff on YouTube during the summer of 2017. I bought an original console and a Tetris cartridge shortly thereafter (Sep 2017) and started practicing like a madman.
In October 2019 I finally achieved my ambition of qualifying for the Classic Tetris World Championship and reaching the Top 48, only to be knocked out by Quaid in Round 0 on the main stage of the event.
I'm currently still hunting for my first maxout (999,999).
#Zelda 1
This is my go-to game to speedrun. I played this game to death in the early 2000's during my college dorm room years and I never grow tired of it.
I have completed over 60 finished any% no up+A runs of this game and I'm very proud to have a personal best of 33 minutes and 30 seconds.
# C64/Amiga
Random games from my original game collection, played on the original system.
# Creative
Whatever it is that I'm coding or tinkering with.
