About This Channel

Panel Content
Hi! I'm **Josiah**. I like orange juice, philosophy, mountains, hiking, books, and PC games. RPGs are my favorite by far, but I play numerous kinds of games. I have a YouTube channel here: **[Firesnakearies](https://www.youtube.com/user/firesnakearies)** ~ I've uploaded complete Let's Play video series of several games to YouTube, and now I'll be live streaming on Twitch. I don't have any "rules" for my chat per se, and I'll probably be using a fair bit of profanity, so feel free to do so as well. **But if you say racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise bigoted shit in my chat, know that I will first mock you, then kick your ass to the curb.** I hope you enjoy the streams, and thanks so much for watching!

Feeling Generous?

Panel Content
~ A lot of streamers and YouTubers offer a link for viewers to donate money to their channel, which many people like to do, in support of channels that they appreciate. Personally, I don't feel comfortable doing this, and as I've said before, I have no interest in taking anyone's money. Some channels, however, support a specific cause or charitable organization, and use some or all of their donations to contribute to that. I would like to officially dedicate my channel to the support of an organization, as well. Instead of letting you donate to me, and then promising that I'll pass the money along to the people doing the work that I consider important, I'd rather just cut out the middle Josiah and ask you to contribute to the Joyful Heart Foundation directly. The image above links to their donate page, and the links below go to a few sections of their website that can provide you with more information about who they are and what they do. ~ In brief, the Joyful Heart Foundation is an amazing organization doing work that I consider the most critically-needed in our world today. Their mission is "to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues." They do this through a wide range of programs in the areas of Healing & Wellness, Education & Awareness, and Policy & Advocacy. They also work with many other wonderful groups striving to bring positive change. I don't want your money. But if you like my stream and feel inclined to donate a few dollars, please send it to the Joyful Heart Foundation instead of me. **[Main Site](http://joyfulheartfoundation.org)** **[Vision and Mission](http://joyfulheartfoundation.org/about-us/vision-and-mission)** **[Program Portfolio](http://joyfulheartfoundation.org/programs/program-portfolio)** **[The Difference We Make](http://joyfulheartfoundation.org/programs/difference-we-make)** **[DONATE](https://secure.joyfulheartfoundation.org/page/contribute/default)**

Streams Which Are Better Than This One

Here are some other streamers on Twitch you should totally watch instead of me whenever possible: **[Dylamir](http://www.twitch.tv/dylamir/profile)** - The sass is REAL. Adorable, clever, and oh so warped. (In a totally innocent way, of course.) Playin' games on Easy so you don't have to! She reads all the lores, and listening to her do so is well worth the price of admission alone. (She's literally from a tiny Eastern European village. A VILLAGE. Her English is better than yours, and you'll dig her accent.) Dylamir doesn't stream as often as some of these others, but she's still at the very top of the list, because fish. Also, I love her. ~ **[Old_Man_Blue](http://www.twitch.tv/old_man_blue/profile)** - Stop what you're doin' and go follow this gentleman right now. Not only is he a natural broadcaster, he's truly got a heart of gold. He streams for a good cause, using all proceeds from his channel to aid homeless and and at-risk US veterans. This isn't just a side hobby for him, helping people is what his life's about, and his stream is just one part of that larger effort. He's also a great source of advice if you have questions about how to set up a good stream. Go see Old_Man_Blue, stay awhile and listen, back his cause, and get some wisdom. He plays really great music, too. ~ **[ArvanEleron](http://www.twitch.tv/arvaneleron/profile)** - This man is the real deal, complete package, full service internet personality. Anyone not following his channel is missing out, he's the streamer that Twitch deserves. He manages to combine the professional feel and quality of big-time broadcasters with the warm, intimate community interaction of the unknowns. ArvanEleron will make you laugh, he will make you think, he will make you sad to see him go. Does all kinds of different and interesting stuff on his stream, gives away a TON of games, and even features great interviews with game developers. Don't be left out like a scrub. Go join the Arvanauts today! ~ **[Augeia](http://www.twitch.tv/augeia/profile)** - You know that feeling when you observe someone for a little bit and then you think, "Yep. I'm pretty sure this person is smarter than I am"? Well, I (am an arrogant narcissist and therefore) don't have that experience very often, but Augeia makes me feel like that. What's more, she does it without coming across as smug, superior, self-satisfied, or intimidating. That's a rare quality. The word I want to use to describe her communication style and persona is "elegant", which she'd probably laugh at because she's a dorky geek like the rest of us. But I mean it in a less obvious, external sense, like an elegance of character, a sort of intellectual grace, of a type that I really like in people but nearly never encounter in the online gaming/streaming community. What I'm trying to say is, she's pure class, hiding in plain sight in the guise of a ridiculous, nerdy fangirl. Sometimes she cries, too. ~ **[Bellafreck](http://www.twitch.tv/bellafreck/profile)** - Of course you all remember **[this scene from Double Take](https://youtu.be/KcOKUZPqBd4?t=1m46s)** in which Orlando Jones informs a gentleman on a train that he is shirking his real-keeping duties. Well, I'm pleased to assure you that Bellafreck is, in fact, 100% "keepin' it REAAHHHL". Here's what's cool about her channel: Most other 'casts, you watch 'em and it feels like you're watching someone put on a show, at least a little bit. There's a certain self-consciousness or affectation to be found, usually. But with her stream, it just feels like you're hanging out in your homie's living room, sittin' on the couch and watching them play a game while you bullshit about random stuff, unfiltered and relaxed. She doesn't put on any kind of act, she's just unapologetically herself, and it's rad. It's like that MTV show Unplugged, but for Twitch streamers. ~ **[NBroadsword](http://www.twitch.tv/nbroadsword/profile)** - Another great guy, another US military veteran who deserves your attention and support. NBroadsword is a funny dude with a chill personality and he's raising money for Operation Supply Drop. Go check him out! Why are you still here reading this? Go! ~ **[Meat_Jesus](http://www.twitch.tv/nbroadsword/profile)** - He's Scottish, he's fuckin' hilarious, and his name is Meat_Jesus. MEAT JESUS. What the hell else do I even need to say here? I can only assume by now you're already feverishly clicking on his follow button. ~ **[Raletia](http://www.twitch.tv/raletia/profile)** - A pretty new streamer, like me, starting to build his audience. He's got SO MUCH energy! And you know how people are always like, "I love to laugh" on their online profiles, as though that's something unique? Well, they're a bunch of liars compared to this guy, because he LEGIT loves to laugh. I've watched him almost laugh himself into some kind of compromised medical state at least twice now. One day, you're going to hear a news story about a new technology that allows people to deliver cookies to each other directly through their computers. There will be a picture of the inventor, and that photo will be of Raletia. Also, he has a pretty sweet hat.

The League Of Ordinary Heroes

If you're an amazing human being who has donated to the Joyful Heart Foundation, and you let me know about it, your name will be immortalized here on my wall of extreme gratitude. Thank you so much, you're my heroes! ~ + **AdamNS** + **visidious_moz**
