Hi Everyone! My name is Katie and I'm an alt/pop singer/songwriter and busker from Los Angeles, CA. I play acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, piano and create loops with my TC electronic Play Acoustic Pedal. I play a variety of songs from the 1960's to the present and my original music is very music influenced by artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Norah Jones, Natalie Merchant, the Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Feist, Zero 7 and Joni Mitchell to name a few. I love anything that sounds ethereal or "chill". In my free time I like to play tennis, go hiking, draw, cook, and study tarot cards. I am a huge cat lover as well! For the past 5 years, I've been a very active performer making my living from busking (aka street performing) as well as playing in hotels, restaurants and bars across southern California. Through music, I've travelled to some incredible places including France, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy New Zealand and Japan-hence I like to call myself an international artist. Since the COVID-19 quarantine I haven't been able to play live and have turned to the internet to stream my work! If you are ever wandering around downtown Burbank, CA you may notice my face near the Gap store. I used to busk on that street corner between San Fernando and Palm in 2015. I once told my friends that spot was a monument in my mind and next thing I knew, I was immortalized on an electrical box by local artist George Shalloob.
