Although Malcumus fought for the Alliance, he was constantly reminded of how cool the armor and weapons were when he once called the Horde his home. Angered by this, Malcumus sent a courier pigeon (in-game ticket) to the elders with a demand. A demand that would shift the balances of Azeroth forever. Malcumus demanded that the Alliance be given more badass looking gear to look cool like the Horde or at least make the Alliance logo look sweeter by putting an eye patch on the lion..
