Hey folks! I'm Matt. I speedrun Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Ganbare Goemon), and Super Mario World. I also speedwrite music from time to time.
I don't really have a set schedule since I just stream whenever I feel excited to stream. You can bank on seeing a lot of Mirror's Edge Catalyst, with some music writing here and there.

**What is NG+?**
>- New Game Plus. In Mirror's Edge Catalyst, you can replay any mission you complete. For NG+, we take a completed save file with all movement and combat skills unlocked, and replay all 15 main story missions in order. This allows us to pull of tricks that you couldn't do off of a fresh save. It's also significantly shorter than Any% since we don't have to travel from mission to mission, and let's us get to the juicy parts of the run faster.
**What is Any%+?**
Any%+ is an Any% run with all skills unlocked from the beginning. We use a modified save file that's available [here](https://www.speedrun.com/mec/resources).
**Why are your times in your videos different than those on speedrun.com?**
>- Mirror's Edge Catalyst has two kinds of load screens. The first type is removed automatically by LiveSplit using a load removal plugin. The second type is not removed by LiveSplit, and has to be taken out manually by moderators on Speedrun.com. The reason these load times are removed is because they are dramatically different between runners (anywhere from a few seconds to over a minute) depending on the computer setup. Manually removed load times include the Silvine cutscene in Release, the VTOL cutscene in Prisoner X, and the white screen at the end of Prisoner X.

**What do you play on?**
>- For SNES games, I'm either playing on console, or on a BSNES emulator with a PS4 controller.
>- For Mirror's Edge Catalyst, I use a custom built PC with a Core i5 4690K and a GTX 1060 3GB. I use a simple Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, and an MXL USB mic. I also use Adobe Audition to filter out noise and EQ my mic a tad bit.
**When did you begin speed-running?**
>- August 2014. When I finished Super Mario World on Wii U VC, I didn't want to stop playing, so I tried speedrunning 11-exit (then any%). I had a ton of fun until I found out that [you can't do cloud glitch on VC](https://www.reddit.com/r/speedrun/comments/2dueix/super_mario_world_cloud_glitch_does_not_work_on/), so I moved to PC and started streaming late September 2014.
