Materies Coil, Wolf Ranger, at your service! I'm a 26 year old wolf that's proficient with longsword from HEMA and a survival instructor that instructs both kids and adults in scouts! I joined the furry fandom in the summer of 2021 and enjoy getting to meet new people and be part of positive communities. Hope to join/build healthy communities for more people. I'll stream whatever I happen to feel like, usually consisting of older single player games from my childhood but aiming to branch out to more games soon! Materies Coil is a Timber Wolf that was raised amongst other wolves in the mountains, training to become a skilled swordswolf. He spent much of his spare time in the woodlands and forests further down the mountain, learning their ways as he grew. Some years after coming of age, Materies decided his time in the mountains had come to an end. He bade farewell to his home and those who taught him the way of the blade before leaving the mountains. He set out seeking new forests and those who inhabit them and test his skills against others as well as learning new abilities. Evolving his skillset to become more than just a swordswolf, but a fully fledged ranger of the forests. However, he soon learned that the woodlands and forests were under threat for outside powers that sought to destroy or harvest the natural lands for their own malicious intent. Materies swore to protect the forests and their inhabitants, using his skill and strength to defend those who could not defend themselves and the land that they called home. After holding to his oath and defending the forests where he could for many tireless months, the forests gifted him the blessing of the woodland. The blessing manifested in blue lightening around his body, becoming part of his grey fur. He could now call upon the strength of the woods to enhance his physical abilities if he needed them, causing the lightening to glow when he did so. But this was a gift to use carefully. He can not call upon it often as it drains the woods and the inhabitants of their strength. It was also only for if he kept defending those who need it, for if he strays from his oath then the blessing will be stripped from him and he would once again be left to fight alone.
