Hello! I’m Valerie or Polite_Void, I’m a streamer from the Eastern U.S. Currently I stream Hunt: Showdown. I really like RPG games like The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, but I've been branching out to other kinds of games like FPS Hunt: Showdown, adventure games like Stray, and cozy games like Unpacking and Animal Crossing, we’ll see what I’m in the mood for whenever I stream. I’ve decided to expand on my rules for my channel! 1. Be kind to everyone. 2. My channel is 18+, I am a 30 year old woman and I have no interest in interacting with kids. 3. I'm going to say no politics and you're gonna read that and say “Polite, why not?” And I'll tell you that I don't feel like I am educated enough to be a voice on political things, I can share my opinions and views but I'm not here to educate others because I feel that I'm not informed enough on a lot of things and I don't feel like it's my place. 4. I will tell you, though that I don't tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or bigotry of any kind in my community, trolling will get you a swift ban and block. 5. I have ADHD and it's a lot to be in charge of keeping the stream going while also being present for the game as well as keeping up with chat and making everyone feel welcome, and i want everyone to feel welcome <3 6. Please don’t ask to join games unless I know you already, see number 7. 7. I am awkward with new people, I’m awkward in general tbh, but I usually need to feel people out before I open up, I know it makes me seem stuck up but it's a way I protect my peace. Please know I’m not stuck up, just painfully shy. 8. When we’re playing a video game, please don’t backseat, unless I ask for help! Don’t argue with each other in chat, I don't care to see it and if you have problems with people: take it to the DMs. Also don't argue with my mods, my main mod being my fiancé, Brent, he has expressed permission to ban without asking. 9. No self-promo or advertising, maybe make a twitter or insta and promote yourself there on your own time. 10. I speak and read English, I would prefer to keep my chat in English only, thank you <3

Who is Polite_Void? I’m a 30 year old TTRPG enthusiast, gamer, and professional procrastinator. A “do-it-tommorrow”-er if you would. I have ADHD and live with the consequences of time blindness every day. I have a wonderful fiance, Brent or Badazzbrentley as he's known by his screen name, I got him into TTRPGs and now I have an awesome in-house Dungeon Master for Life!💖 Do You Have Any Pets? I do! I have my two little dogs, JJ and Jazzy. JJ, we think, is a Jack Russel and Chihuahua mix with an adorable overbite and corky tail, and Jazzy is a rambunctious little ball of white fur, we think she might be a pekinese chihuahua mix but we don't know really for either of them since they're both rescue dogs! (And they have instagrams which i put in my linktre.e) We're currently living at my parents house and they have one dog and 3 cats. The dog's name is Maxwell and he's also a rescue, we think he's some kind of schnauzer mix with his wiry hair and elegant mustache! He's also deaf which leads to us calling for him, sighing, and going and tapping him gently to get his attention. Then we have the 3 cats: Loki, an orange tabby cat who thinks he runs the block, Abby who "came with" my parents house, she was here when we looked at the house and just stayed with us from then on, and finally there's Fluffy, a majestic Maine Coon who we think was dumped down the street and she just showed up one thanksgiving day and she's stayed with us ever since. Feeding time at the zoo is appropriate. You will absolutely hear either one or both of my dogs going off during streams, just so you're aware. How Long Have You Played TTRPGs? I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 2 years now. I'm a Bard main and I love a good story. I also play Pathfinder, we’re absolutely sure we messed up somewhere in We Be Goblins but we’re working on it; also I’m a mean Rogue in Pathfinder. Video Games? I have loved video games since I was little and my dad had my brothers and I playing “hot seat” on Heroes of Might and Magic. I have about 2000 hours total in the Elder Scrolls games from Morrowind to Skyrim, 150+ hours in the Mass Effect games, and around 650 hours in the Dragon Age games. I really love RPGs which I think fueled my love for TTRPGs. I’m hoping to start streaming video games on my channel as soon as possible. Where Are You From? I am American from Virginia. I want to foster an inclusive community on here; I care about mental health awareness, Black Lives Matter, MMIW, Land Back, LGBTQ+ Issues, and just generally not being a terrible person.
