Hi! ♥ I'm Maya. I stream because I love talking to people. My ultimate goal is to be a positive part of the lives of the people who watch me, to make their day better and put some well-deserved smiles on their faces. Programming has been my passion for over half my life, and I never get tired of it. Anything you want to talk about in that area, I'm your gal. Sometimes I'll also stream games, but I'm neither a pro player nor a speedrunner; I play games to have fun and talk to you. While I generally have no issue with and even encourage backseating (but no spoilers!), I'll still play games my way rather than "the right way."

I love to code and have been doing it for about sixteen years now. I started out with PHP, extending my knowledge to the rest of web tech, then went on to learn Android development, .NET C#, iOS development, Rust, and most recently Ruby. As long as it's not too unpleasant to work with I don't really mind which programming language I use; I just love the logic. If I had to choose though, it'd be Rust for high-performance applications, and Vue with a thin Rust backend for everything else. I currently work for Gumroad where we use Ruby & React. In terms of software, I use Nobara as my operating system, and for coding itself, I use IntelliJ IDEA for pretty much everything.
