Welcome to the channel! **Rated M for Marathon** is a non-profit group located in central Illinois that streams marathons to raise money for charity! This year we are supporting Child's Play Charity. Child's Play Charity was founded by the creators of Penny Arcade in an effort for gamers to give back to the community. Child's Play provides games, systems, and other forms of entertainment to kids who are stuck in hospitals and domestic abuse shelters in hopes of making their hard time a little less hard.

**Q: How do I donate?** A: Click the Child's Play Charity logo to go straight to the donation widget! **Q: Who designed your logo?** A: Our logo was designed by our good friend Quinton Thomas! You can find out more information about Quinton's work on his Facebook page: <https://www.facebook.com/artbyquinton/> **Q: How are prizes won from donating?** A: We do a donor raffle and every $5 donated is an entry. For example, if you donated $100, that's 20 entries. $101 would still be 20 entries. We also occasionally give out Steam games to people paying attention to the stream. **Q: When are prizes drawn?** A: We will do giveaways of some smaller prizes to people in chat during the marathon, and the grand prizes will be raffled off to donors at the end of the marathon. **Be sure to leave a valid email in your donation comment so we can contact you in case you win!** **Q: What are some of the grand prizes?** A: That is still to be decided for the next marathon. **Q: What means can I use to donate?** A: Credit, Debit, and Paypal! In the past, people have also used Visa gift cards and Paypal's Bill Me Later option. Any info on that will be found past the donation widget page. **Q: I want to help, but am short on funds at the moment. How else can I help?** A: We appreciate people being very active in the chat, but the best way to raise money for Child's Play is to share the stream on any social media accounts you may have. Facebook, Twitter, etc. We will regularly be posting on our official pages, so feel free to share and retweet those. The more people we can get to share, the more donations the charity will receive. **Q: How much of the money do you guys keep?** A: Zero. Nilch. Nada. Zip. We don't touch a dime. All Rated M for Marathon expenses are completely out of pocket of the staff themselves. **Q: NONE of the donations? How do you pay for all of this?** A: Out of pocket. Sometimes we get prizes or food donated, which is awesome, but mostly everything from the computers to the games comes out of our own pockets.
