hello!! my name is carin, but i often go by rin to free myself from memes about entitled middle-aged white women. i've been a gamer and nintendo fan since childhood, and now i get to share the fun with you all!! i am: - slightly unhinged - more than slightly queer - filipino/white - california born and raised - not particularly good at anything - here to chill and have fun! though i've developed severe anxiety from past experiences, i want to overcome and learn to meet people again, so i'd love if you said hi! *(no, seriously. i need to practice my social skills.)* my current focus is on growing stronger and improving myself, whereas one of my lifelong goals is to help make gaming safer and more welcoming for all. aside from playing games together, i aim to form a community that is compassionate and encouraging to friends and strangers alike. stream stuff: - i like to play smash the most since i can include viewers, but might stream whatever else i'm up to as well. - my life is a mess so i don't have a regular stream schedule yet :') - public speaking is still new to me and my anxiety acts up sometimes. please understand this and be patient with me!

the obvious™ rules: - be a decent human. no toxicity. - respect other chatters and players as well. - absolutely no racism, sexism, transphobia, etc. personal rules: - don't call me an e-girl, gamer girl, girl gamer, etc. it's annoying and old. - don't compare me to anyone. it can be triggering for me and it's just weird in general. - i already recognize when i play like shit so just don't call out my poor performance. it's completely unnecessary. i am not yet used to being watched and therefore tend to get flustered on top of my game inexperience. if you want high-skill gameplay, please go somewhere else. in general, just listen to me and my mods or get bonked >:(
