Born and raised in the east of the Netherlands, now I live in Utrecht! I started DJing and producing electronic music around the age of 22 and I have never looked back. I love to listen to many types of music, but as DJ I mainly play in the likes of Downtempo, Organic House, Melodic/Progressive or Minimal/Microhouse. In 2018, me and my partner @djbalu1992 started the podcast series and event organisation [Birdcage Radio](https://linktr.ee/birdcageradio), which has now evolved into a daily radio here on Twitch, as well as a global platform for artists and art lovers of all kinds! We still host events and release music on Bandcamp as [Birdcage Radio Records](https://birdcageradio.bandcamp.com/music) and [Minokawa Records](https://minokawarecords.bandcamp.com/music) for the Downtempo lovers. During the start of the pandemic we decided to introduce [Birdcage Radio on Twitch](https://twitch.tv/birdcageradio), and as the radio community grew, I decided to spin off over here next to my weekly shows on Tuesday! My background lies in teaching and music technology, and I worked/played at venues and festivals around Europe. Nowadays I mainly play gigs in Amsterdam and occasionally some other places in Europe. Next to all of this I am into crafting (crochet and knitting) and I love an occasional game on the Nintendo Switch. Let me know what game you are currently playing!
