Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose. With that being said please respect that I live in a reality where 25 million farm animals are slaughtered each day in the United States alone. I will never be able to fathom the amount of suffering they go through but at the very least it is overwhelming and disturbing for me to think about. I do not find it funny and if you approach me with the attitude that veganism is something to laugh at I promise I will not be kind about it. I have been vegan for about 7-8 years. I've heard it all, and all the ridiculous things people throw at me get old FAST :,) However, if you are genuinely interested in learning about veganism please do not ever hesitate to reach out.
