Scholarly Gamers is always growing; we've got dozens of streamers within our team, but maintain the tight-knit feeling of a community who's grown gradually over the last year and longer. Visit us online to see a directory of those streaming under our banner, or click the "Twitch / Mixer" panels on the right to visit our community pages.
# What is SG all about?
Scholarly Gamers is all about building up a community of gamers that want a higher standard in the industry.
# The name's a little stuffy, isn't it?
Yes and no.
For years, we've been reading through loads of sites that offer clickbait, senseless 'top ten' lists, unfounded predictions, and general garbage. Not all sites work like that, of course, but Scholarly Gamers hopes to deliver a calibre of writing above the industry average by making sure to ask *why* about anything we do.
# Can I stream with you?
Maybe!
We do vet potential streamers by making sure that our community leaders look into your channel ahead of time. We look beyond the quality of your technical setup and followers count; we want to make sure that you, the person, are someone we feel is well-suited to the brand.
Join the SG Discord (panel above), and ask to speak with an @Admin there. Not on Discord? Sign up! It's the main tool we use as a team.
# Awesome articles! Can I write for you?
Maybe!
We're always looking to expand our list of contributors, but require a few things:
1. Join the Discord server, and ask to speak to an @Admin in there.
2. Submission of something that demonstrates your quality of writing.
3. Links to other places you've been published before (if applicable)
4. Understand that we **cannot and will not be offering paid positions at this time**.
