On this channel, however, I will try to stick to party games, blockchain games, RPGs, and MMORPGs while attempting not to jump around between games and genres too much. Q: So what makes a guy with a face for radio and a voice for silent movies think he can actually stream? A: Whoa, now that came out of left field. Say, is this how your mom taught you to talk to strangers on the internet? Anyway, to answer your question, I've never actually thought I'd one day become a streamer. I started streaming because I wanted to get back into seriously playing video games and exploring my extensive game library and streaming was a good way to get me motivated to do that. Along the way, however, I found out that connection with other people can be just as, if not more enjoyable than successfully getting rid of another boss in my favorite game, so I'm basically here for you guys. My dream would be to actually manage to form some sort of community around the channel, one that would emphasize caring, supporting and being there for others, while at the same time being a bit kooky and odd like yours truly. Q: So what's with that name? I might be crazy but shouldn't a guy who goes by the name Starbeard actually have a beard? Don't see any significant facial hair on yer mug buddy. A: Yes, well, you see, Starbeard has been my gamer handle for quite some time (feel free to add me on Steam BTW). Why did I choose it at the time? Well, I liked the combination of these two words which clearly don't belong together, I liked the sound of it, and it was also a small way to pay tribute to Tyrannosaurus Rex's lovely album A Beard of Stars, which happens to be one of my favorites. Now, I've played a lot of multiplayer games in my time and that's the name under which people who played with me got to know me, so it only felt natural to stick with it when I had to make an account on a site dedicated (mostly) to streaming your games. I am, however, well aware of people's expectations from someone who goes by this handle, which is exactly why I recently introduced the "Grow a Beard, You Fake" channel points reward.
