Hey everyone, My name is Stephen I am a fantasy artist living in NYC/NJ. I paint both traditionally in oil as well as digitally. My favorite things to paint and the things you will most likely see here is Dragons, Castles, and snowy mountains. Basically lots of high fantasy stuff. Basically cool stuff. I will also at times also be working on studies of figures/portraits, master studies to try improve and get better.

Streaming times can vary based on what is going on at the time but I try my best to stream as much as possible, the most consistent times are usually weekdays in the afternoon. Sometimes I will also do a bonus stream in the evening as well. I live on the east coast so I go by EST I stream mostly on weekdays 2:30- 6pm eastern 9:30- 12/1am

**How old are you** 30...lets not bring this up again **Did you go to art school** Yes I did, I graduated from Pratt Institute in 2008 with a BFA in illustration. I have a mostly jaded view of art school and if you want to hear me rail against the art school institution just ask away in the chat. the short spiel is that you do not need to go to art school to become an artist, there are a great many services and workshops out there that in my opinion give you as good if not sometimes better instruction that art schools without the crippling debt associated with the big name institutions. **What is your set-up** I am using a 2013 Imac with a dual monitor with an I5 processor and 8 gigs of ram (proof you dont need a supercomputer to make art) I paint on an Intuos 5 wacom tablet **What program do you use** Photoshop CS5 **How long does a typical painting take** It entirely depends on how much detail I want and how many figures/elements are in the painting. Studies usually take me a few hours, the portfolio paintings can take anywhere from a few days to around 2 weeks. If the piece is really involved or is in oil that number can jump up to a month or more, it all depends.

### Are you a gamer, what games do you play? I certainly love relaxing playing games, though I dont play as much as I used to or would like to (that whole gotta make $ making art thing gets in the way) but I loooove jrpg's mostly final fantasy. If you are watching a stream there is a good chance Final Fantasy music will be playing. I love most games that take place in a medieval/fantasy setting (surprise surprise) I am also a huuuge racing fan, I loves me some gran tourismo
